The Hyundai Creta Electric will make its Indian premiere on January 17th at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
Below are 5 notable features of the Hyundai Creta Electric
Active Air Flap
The Hyundai Creta Electric’s design is derived from its ICE predecessor. However, several characteristics are unique to the battery-powered vehicle. For example, the EV’s front fascia features a closed-off grille, and the brand has added active air flaps. These are used in conjunction with a right closed grille to manage airflow, which the car will adjust for cooling and aerodynamics.

Vehicle to Load
The brand has also included the Vehicle-to-Load capability. This allows the owner to use the electric SUV to charge items such as laptops both inside and outside the car. In other words, the car can function as a portable power source. This is a characteristic that we have previously seen on vehicles like as the Ford F-150 Lightning marketed in the overseas market.

Shift-by-Wire Systems
The Shift-By-Wire System enables the vehicle to shift gears smoothly. It aims to improve vehicle ride quality by replacing mechanical links with electronic connections.
Digital Key
This is an option that the brand initially premiered on the previous version of the Alcazar. This function allows the user to easily lock, unlock, and start the vehicle using their smartphone or other linked devices, such as a smartwatch. It also improves the vehicle’s security.
Powertrain
The Hyundai Creta Electric will be available with two battery pack options: a 42 kWh battery pack that gives a range of 390 km on a single charge, and a long-range variant with a 51.4 kWh battery pack that provides a range of 473 km on one charge. The car has two charging options: a DC charger that can recharge from 10% to 80% in 58 minutes, and an 11kW Smart Connected Wall Box that can charge it from 10% to 100% in 4 hours using AC Home Charging.
