Honda Activa

The Honda Activa e is a completely new vehicle that carries the moniker of the iconic ICE scooter. It adopts not only the scooter’s name, but also the body and frame of its ICE counterpart. The EV, on the other hand, has an entirely different styling, with a more basic approach. This is evident in the slightly different appearance of the EV’s apron, which houses the LED headlamp and turn indicators on either side. The brand has installed an LED DRL in the vehicle’s headlights. The floorboard appears to be short, with a long seat. The “Activa e:” symbol is mounted on the bike’s tail lamp assembly.

The Activa e’s battery configuration is swappable, with two 1.5 kWh cells located beneath the seat. The power from these units is transferred to a 4.2 kW (5.6 horsepower) electric motor mounted on the wheel. The output can be increased to 6.0 kW (8 bhp). All of this can help to attain a range of 102 km per charge. The brand also offers three riding modes: standard, sport, and economy.

The Honda QC1

The QC1 will be released in the spring of 2025, exclusively for the India market. The apron and side panels of the scooter, designed for short-distance riding, share design characteristics with the Activa e. The scooter’s head, however, is peculiar in that it lacks LED DRL.

Another way the QC1 and Activa e differ is with their powertrain configurations. The QC1 comes equipped with a 1.5-kWh fixed battery pack. A socket above the floorboard allows the scooter to be linked to a specialist charger. The batter powers the tiny in-wheel motor, which is rated at 1.2 kW (1.6 bhp) and 1.8 kW (2.4 bhp). Because of all of this, the EV has a range of up to 80 km.

By presenting important information, the QC1’s 5-inch LCD instrument screen facilitates rider interaction with the EV. Additionally, the EV has a USB Type-C port, under-seat storage, and other amenities.
