Honda Amaze versus Maruti Suzuki Dzire comparison : Honda Cars India has finally introduced the much-anticipated third-generation Amaze. The Amaze is a key contributor of Honda’s popularity in India, contributing to more than 40% of total sales.Following the second-generation update in 2018, the latest edition boasts a completely new design, better features, improved safety, and a renovated cabin.

1.2-litre NA petrol engine from the previous model remains in the new Honda Amaze. It produces 90 horsepower and 110 Nm of peak torque and is partnered with either a five-speed manual or a CVT, the latter of which also has paddle shifters.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine that produces 82 horsepower and 112 Newton-meters of torque.It comes with a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission.

Features of Honda Amaze versus Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Dzire are both fully prepared cars. The Amaze comes equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and linked car technologies. Other important characteristics include LED projectors headlights, fog lamps, wireless charging, auto climate control, a start/stop button, rear air vents, three-point seat belts for all passengers, and a rear armrest.

The Dzire raises the bar with a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro Plus multimedia system that includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, as well as a 360-degree camera and connected car features. A segment-first sunroof, cruise control, LED projection device headlights in particular diamond-cut alloy wheels, remote keyless entry, and both front and rear powered windows are all included.

The Honda Amaze is offered in three trim levels: V, VX, and ZX. The starting price is Rs 7.99 lakh, ex-showroom, and rises to Rs 10.89 lakh, ex-showroom, for the highest-spec model.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire also offers more options, with four trim levels: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The Dzire ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh for the fully loaded ZXi+ trim. This gives the Dzire an economic advantage, especially in its entry-level models.
