Honda Amaze : Honda India recently revealed design concepts that provide a glimpse of the impending third-generation Amaze’s new ‘Progressive and Classy’ design language. The Amaze will be available on December 4, and if these sketches are any indicator, we’re in for a surprise. The interiors have been upgraded, and they now look significantly more upscale.

Honda Amaze design

The Honda Amaze’s design has multiple clean lines, an imposing grille similar to the Elevate, sleek headlamps, a flat bonnet, and a sports bumper with LED fog lights. The side profile has multi-spoke alloy wheels and a character line that connects the headlamps to the LED taillights, which have City-inspired characteristics with triple vertical slat-like elements. The roof features a shark fin antenna, the boot lid has a little spoiler, and the bumper has a diffuser-like appearance.

The interior appears to be identical in layout to the Elevate. The dashboard is in dual-tone shades and has a larger, floating touchscreen entertainment device in the center, tweeters in the A-pillars, slim AC vents, and stud-like dashboard pieces. The automatic temperature control unit contains charging outlets and a wireless charging tray beneath it, and cupholders are located forward of the automatic gear lever. The steering wheel is a standard Honda type with integrated controls, and the door pockets appear to be adequate size.

Following extensive surveys in India, the third generation Amaze was designed at Honda’s R&D Asia Pacific division in Thailand. The business claims that the goal is to provide a more enjoyable sedan experience, increasing its luxury appeal and lifting it to a higher class.

A 1.2-liter engine will power the Honda Amaze

The Honda Amaze will be driven by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine with 82 horsepower and 110 Nm of peak torque. It will have a 5-speed manual powertrain with an optional CVT. The Honda Amaze will compete with the freshly launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which was just awarded a 5-star crash test rating by Global NCAP.
