Honda Activa Electric : Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Japanese giant’s two-wheeler manufacturing branch, is preparing to join the electric vehicle industry with the introduction of a new two-wheeler. Before the November 27 introduction, the firm has been teasing the EV by providing little details about the vehicle in short video segments. According to the latest teaser, the brand’s latest two-wheeler, dubbed the Honda Activa Electric, will have replaceable batteries. It will receive a set of two batteries positioned under the seat.
It is worth noting that the Japanese manufacturer has long planned to launch EVs with detachable batteries in India. This aligns with the brand’s strategy in overseas markets. For example, the recently revealed CUV-e has changeable batteries. These 1.3 kWh units are said to provide a range of more than 70 kilometers on a single charge.

The Activa Electric’s recently revealed teaser depicts replaceable batteries being removed from a swappable battery charging station. Later, this battery is inserted into the slot on the scooter where another battery is already installed. The brand hasn’t revealed any further information. However, according to a prior teaser, these batteries are expected to have a range of more than 100 kilometers.
Honda Activa Electric will have a TFT screen
Aside from that, the Honda Activa Electric will have a TFT screen, which is expected to provide access to a slew of connectivity options. In addition, the scooter will have two ride modes to meet the needs of the rider: standard and sport. It will also have LED illumination, expanding its list of features. With all of these characteristics, the electric scooter is set to compete with competitors such as TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, and Bajaj Chetak when it launches.
