Hero Mavrick 440 : EICMA 2024 has been an extremely hectic event for Hero MotoCorp. On this worldwide stage, the corporation introduced four new items as well as a variety of other offerings. One of the most noteworthy showcases has to be the upgraded Hero Mavrick 440, which has increased features and components. Let’s have a look.
Hero Mavrick 440 is now updated
Hero MotoCorp revealed a new version of their global electric scooter, the Vida Z, during the prestigious EICMA 2024 event. The Xtreme 250R street naked and Karizma XMR 250 supersport both debuted the company’s first-ever 250cc engine. Finally, Hero debuted the Xpusle 210 with a big design overhaul.
While these 4 new motorcycles dominated the spotlight, the revised version of the Hero Mavrick 440 received little attention. However, the company’s efforts to completely revamp its premium car lineup are admirable. Hero is even investing extensively in premium Premia dealerships to cater to higher-end bikes.

Currently, the Mavrick 440 is Hero’s largest motorcycle yet. It is based on the 440 platform, which Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson jointly developed. Both of these brands benefited from this platform. Harley’s X440 is positioned as the more luxury model, and it has a few features to support that claim.
Mavrick 440 was placed below X440 in the hierarchy, having significantly less showy features and equipment. Hero is changing that by displaying a more fully equipped version of its Mavrick 440, complete with features similar to that found on the Harley-Davidson X440.
Hero Mavrick 440 new features
Hero has improved the perception of the Mavrick 440 by adding a few quality components that were previously only found on the more expensive Harley X440. These are USD telescopic front forks in a gorgeous Gold color, as well as a more modern TFT instrument cluster with extensive communication capabilities such as Bluetooth and GPS.

The addition of USD front forks improves the Mavrick 440’s handling characteristics, as does its overall design quotient. Expect crisper handling and better steering feel. With the installation of a TFT color instrument cluster, the overall premium quotient increased.
The refreshed Hero Mavrick 440 retains the same 440cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 27 horsepower and 36 Nm while coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. Interestingly, the weight has decreased by 2kg, from 191 kg kerb weight to 189 kg. The launch date in India has not yet been confirmed.
