Ducati Desert X Discovery : Ducati India has lately teased the Desert X Discovery for the Indian market. The brand has now announced that bookings for the adventure bike are open. It should be noted that this is part of the brand’s overall strategy to extend its bike selection. The Italian firm is also introducing the seventh-generation Panigale V4 in the country.
The Ducati Desert X Discovery stands apart from its family members due to its unusual colour scheme. It has a black and Ducati Red colour scheme with new decals. It is worth noting that these decals can be changed if they become misplaced. This corresponds with the brand’s goal of making the bike more versatile and changeable with a variety of factory-fitted accessories.

The Desert X Discovery also comes with a higher windscreen. Its feature set also includes turn-by-turn navigation, which is a subscription-based service with a five-year validity period. The motorcycle’s owner must renew this service. Other significant features include heated grips, a huge sump, a centre stand, and fairing protection, among other things.
The bike’s performance is improved by 46 mm fully adjustable USD front forks and a KYB completely adjustable monoshock in the rear. The front brakes are equipped with dual 320 mm discs, while the rear gets a 265 mm disc. These brake components are mounted on a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear spoke wheel.
Ducati Desert X Discovery engine
At its core, the Ducati Desert X Discovery is powered by a 937 cc L-twin engine with a six-speed gearbox. This engine is configured to produce 108 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of maximum torque. To maximise power, the brand offers rider aid features such as engine brake cruise control, power modes, ride modes, wheelie control, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and more.
