BMW M2 launched  with more power and cost at ₹ 1.03 crore

BMW M2 : BMW India recently launched the upgraded M2 in India at a retail value of ₹1.03 crore. Bookings for the 2-door, 4-seater coupe are currently open on the company’s website and in-store locations. The M2 debuted in mid-2023 and has undergone its first mid-life modification in one and a half years. The update includes increased power and torque output, additional features, and a redesigned look. Let’s have a brief look at the modifications.

Mechanical Updates for the 2025 BMW M2

The 3.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine remains, but power has been increased from 460 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque to 480 hp and 600 Nm. There is an 8-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual gearbox available. The automatic gearbox completes the 0-100 kmph race in 4 seconds, while the manual gearbox takes 4.2 seconds. The improved output reduces the time from 0-100 kmph by 0.1 seconds and the time from 0-200 kmph by an astonishing 0.6 seconds.

The BMW M2 is now available in four new colours: Portimao Blue, Fire Red, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey. The exterior changes are minimal, with available tinted headlamps, new alloy wheels, blacked-out emblems, and black exhaust pipes.

The interior arrangement has remained mostly unaltered, with improvements including a reworked AC vent configuration, a new M Alcantara steering wheel, and the current OS8.5 system running the touchscreen infotainment device. Six airbags are standard, along with Dynamic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Automatic Stability Control, M Dynamic Mode, and Cornering Brake Control.
