Going into depth, the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is remarkably identical to its predecessor. These similarities may be seen in the neo-retro design, which is accented by a round headlamp, and a single-piece bench seat with a slim tail. However, the brand has made minor changes to the gasoline tank design. This design is accompanied by three Speed Twin 1200 paint schemes: Aluminium Silver, Carnival Red with Sapphire Black, and Crystal White with Sapphire Black. Meanwhile, the RS model is available in two liveries: Sapphire Black and a dual-tone Sapphire Black with Baja Orange.

In terms of features, both bikes include a new instrument console that is totally digital and identical to the Trident 660. The switchgear is same to that of the Trident. A type-C charging port is a regular feature. Both motorcycles come standard with cornering ABS, traction control, and road and rain riding modes, with the RS variant adding a sport mode.

The engines on both motorcycles are identical, with a 1,200 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor producing 105 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and peak torque of 112 Nm at 4,250. This engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, with the RS model including a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard, and the basic version with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The RS features 43 mm Marzocchi forks with complete adjustment and 120 mm of travel. At the back, it has dual Ohlins shock absorbers that are likewise completely adjustable. The rear suspension provides 123 mm of travel. Furthermore, the RS boasts twin 320 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema callipers and a 220 mm rear disc with a Nissin 2-piston calliper.

The regular model, on the other hand, has a 43 mm Marzocchi USD fork with 120 mm of travel and twin Marzocchi shock absorbers at the back with 116 mm of travel. The front suspension is not adjustable, and the rear suspension is just adjustable for preload. The Speed dual 1200 also has dual 320 mm front discs but Triumph-branded 4-piston radial callipers, as well as a 220 mm rear disc paired with the same Nissin arrangement.
