Children can visit Aadhaar Seva Kendras with their parents to have their biometrics updated on their Aadhaar cards. Parents and kids will find it easier as a result.

The Unique Identification Authority of India’s (UIDAI) Lucknow Regional Office has started a special campaign to spread the word about the need to update children’s Aadhaar biometrics. Additionally, children’s biometrics can be updated at district-wide Aadhaar Seva Kendras without an appointment.

Officials said that as part of the initiative, children aged five to fifteen will no longer need to schedule an appointment at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra in order to have their biometrics updated in their Aadhaar. This will happen Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday throughout the day.

By accompanying their parents to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, children will be able to update their biometrics on their Aadhaar card. It is well known that updating a child’s biometrics in Aadhaar is required when they reach five and then fifteen. This involves re-capturing the child’s fingerprint, ocular scan, and most recent photo.
