Following the Pahalgam terror assault, Pakistan has enhanced border fortifications and personnel deployment on its side of the Line of Control (LoC) .
According to the report, Pakistani forces have been ordered to stay within bunkers and keep increased surveillance due to worries of Indian retribution. The Pakistani Army’s 10 Corps, headquartered in Rawalpindi, as well as personnel stationed along the International Border in Sialkot, have been ordered to remain on high alert.

After the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 civilians were killed, the top army commander is expected to brief him on various aspects of ground operations and border readiness .
On Wednesday, India launched a series of harsh diplomatic moves against Pakistan, including the downgrade of bilateral relations, the expulsion of Pakistani military attachés, the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, and the immediate closure of the Attari land border transit point. These sanctions were taken in response to intelligence findings linking cross-border terror networks to the Pahalgam atrocity.
