Highlights of the match between RCB vs PBKS
The move failed as RCB crashed to 95 for nine in 14 overs. In the pursuit, PBKS was shaken when Shreyas Iyer and Josh Inglis were sent back in rapid succession. However, a composed Nehal Wadhera (33 no.o., 19b, 3×4, 3×6) shattered RCB’s hopes of a comeback.
After more than two hours of rain, RCB openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli finally made their way out to bat. The sticky pitch made strokeplay almost difficult, but the RCB batters were unprepared to modify their strategy.

Salt, Kohli, and Liam Livingstone attempted to force the pace and suffered the price. Long deliveries were skied high and without time, resulting in catching practice. The PBKS fielders were up to the task, with Marco Jansen and Priyansh Arya making excellent catches to dismiss Kohli and Livingstone, respectively.
RCB began to lose wickets in large numbers as a result of more risky strokes. Jansen removed influential player and local lad Manoj Bhandage, leaving RCB in a huge hole at 42 for seven.
The lowest T20 score at this site, 82 by RCB in the first IPL game in 2008, was frighteningly near. Tim David’s fighting undefeated 50 kept RCB afloat, even if the ship eventually sank.
