The Yamaha MT-15 is the MT family’s smallest motorcycle. This bike, with its streetfighter style, is available in a variety of markets and is a popular choice. Because of its popularity, the Japanese automaker continues to upgrade the motorcycle. These upgrades frequently focus on aesthetics. Following suit, the firm has introduced the 2025 Yamaha MT-15 in Malaysia with new paint scheme possibilities.

The 2025 Yamaha MT-15 retains the appearance of its predecessor, with characteristic MT style consisting of two DRLs mounted atop the headlamp assembly. In addition, the bike maintains a robust fuel tank despite its compact body. All of this is now supplemented by a new paint scheme option called Ice-Storm, which features white and blue with gold accents on the front shock absorbers.
It has an Ice Blue accent color that can be seen on the fuel tank, rear subframe panel, and both alloy wheels. This Ice Blue color is darker than Cyan, but not as dark as Racing Blue, which is available in India. Everything follows the same pattern as the previous available paint scheme variations. All of this comes at no additional cost, since the 2025 version is still priced at RM 12,498 (about Rs 2.4 lakh).

Upgraded 2025 Yamaha MT-15 is the same as its predecessor
Mechanically, the upgraded Yamaha MT-15 is the same as its predecessor. It still has USD forks up front and a monoshock in the back. The braking system is also identical to single-disc brakes. The bike is powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 18 horsepower and 14 Nm of peak torque with a six-speed gearbox.
The Indian market version of the Yamaha MT-15 comes in Dark Matte Blue, Metallic Black, Cyan Storm DLX, Ice Fluo-Vermillion DLX, Metallic Black DLX, Racing Blue DLX, and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition color schemes. The brand plans to release an improved version of the bike in the country soon.
