India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. has introduced the all-new MY25 Kawasaki Versys 1100, an adventure-touring motorbike. The MY25 Versys 1100 builds on Kawasaki’s adventure-touring base with an updated 1,099cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The motorbike will compete with models such as the Honda Africa Twin and BMW R1250GS, among others. Interestingly, the Versys 1100’s price drops by a lakh when compared to the model it replaces, demonstrating Kawasaki’s commitment to selling this motorcycle.
MY25 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Engine And Powertrain
The Kawasaki Versys 1100 is powered by a 1099 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder DOHC engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a maximum power and torque output of 135 hp and 112 Nm, respectively.
MY25 Kawasaki Versys 1100: Built and Designed
The all-new Kawasaki Versys 1100 sports an aluminium dual frame that keeps the frame beams right above the engine, giving it a low profile. The narrow tank allows riders to obtain a better grip with their knees when riding over uneven terrain, cutting through an unexpected trespasser, and so forth. The suspension is handled by a 43 mm inverted fork with rebound damping (right-side) and spring preload adjustability at the front, and a Horizontal Backlink, gas-charged rear shock with rebound damping adjustability and remote spring preload adjustability at the back.
MY25 Kawasaki Versys 1100: Specifications
The Kawasaki Versys 1100 has an adjustable windscreen, a 12-volt DC socket and an LCD instrument cluster with a negative display. It also includes traction control with four modes, two power mode options, a quick shifter, a cornering management system, an intelligent anti-lock brake system, and other features.
MY25 Kawasaki Versys 1100: Cost
The All New MY25 Versys 1100 will start at Rs 12,90,000/- (ex-showroom). Deliveries will begin around the end of February 2025.
