Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India plans to expand its BigWing offering in India by launching middle-weight bikes. As verified by a teaser, the Japanese automaker will deliver its popular fully-faired CBR650R to India with the CB650R. Furthermore, it is likely that the brand would present both bikes at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in New Delhi on January 17.
Honda CBR650R’s Design
The concept of reintroducing the Honda CB650R in the Indian market makes sense for the brand because it is a popular model in the Indian market. It features an aggressive appearance with twin headlamps and striking graphics. This works well in conjunction with a rider triangle, which balances an aggressive and comfortable seating position. Along with this, the bike will have a broader range of features.

Honda CB650R’s Design
The Honda CB650R will be modified in 2024 and appeared in India. This bike features a naked look that is enhanced by a spherical headlamp. It features a well-sculpted gasoline tank to accommodate the rider and a design that provides a comfortable ride with slightly higher handlebars.
Honda CBR650R and CB650R: Hardware
Both bikes share its hardware with 41 mm Showa Separate Function. Big piston forks, with a 10-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. The front end is equipped with 310 mm discs, while the back end has a 240 mm disc. The brakes also have dual-channel ABS and a switchable traction control system.
Honda CBR650R, CB650R powertrain
The Honda CBR650R and CB650R are powered by a 649 cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine. This engine is configured to produce 95 horsepower at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. This model comes with a new E-clutch gearbox. In addition, the manufacturer provides a 6-speed manual gearbox option.
