Pension Complaint: To file a pension-related complaint, use the centralised Pension Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPENGRAMS). CPENGRAMS is an online web-enabled system created by NIC in partnership with the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare. This portal is accessible 24/7. The goal of this system is to address pensioner complaints as quickly as possible and to monitor them.
Who can file a Pension complaint?
A complaint can be filed by a pensioner or by someone acting on their behalf. A pensioner’s association recognised by the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare may also file a complaint on behalf of pensioners.

To file a complaint, the pensioner’s information and the specifics of his complaint (Grievance Description) are required. Along with the complaint details, relevant documents can be supplied to support it; however, the papers must only be in PDF format. Some columns on the registration form are obligatory, meaning they must be filled out.
Know how to file a Pension complaint
To file a complaint, follow all of the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Go to the CPENGRAMS home page. To file a new complaint, click the “Lodge New Grievance” button.
Step 2: Choose the type of pensioner and then click Continue.
Step 3: After filling out all of the details on the complaint registration form, click the “Submit” button.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received to the registered mobile number, then check and click Submit.
It should be noted that once the mobile number has been validated, a registration number will be supplied. If a mobile number or email address is provided during registration, the registration number can be forwarded to the pensioner via email or SMS.

How can I verify the status of a Pension complaint?
Step 1: On the homepage, select the “View Grievance/Appeal Status” button.
Step 2: Enter your registration number, mobile number, and security code and click the Submit button to proceed to the Grievance/Appeal Status page.
Step 3: After entering the information, the current status of the complaint will be given to you. Remember that if an appeal is correctly registered, the status of the appeal will be revealed.
