The 32-kilometer stretch from Akshardham to Baghpat on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is now ready for its inauguration .

Expressway : The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has two sections that are ready for opening. PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate it. The Prime Minister’s Office has been contacted to request time. The motorway may be inaugurated before the Delhi Assembly elections are announced. In this case, the opening ceremony is expected in the last week of December or the first week of January.

The expressway’s two portions are 32 kilometres long each. 17 kilometres of the Delhi portion have been lifted. The remaining 15 kilometres are along the border between Ghaziabad and Baghpat.The Expressway project has been split into two two parts. The motorway has been linked to the Eastern Peripheral Motorway at Mavikala hamlet near Baghpat. Both Expressway portions have been completed.

NHAI has completed all of the necessary preparations for the inauguration. Recently, heavy vehicles were driven along the motorway. This was how the load was checked. There was no defect discovered in it. A safety audit has also been performed. The motorway has met safety requirements. Other testing have been completed.

The express way is ready from Akshardham to Baghpat, passing via Laxminagar, Geeta Colony, Lohe Ka Pul (Kailash Colony), Shastri Park New Usmanpur, Kartarnagar, Khajuri Khas Chowk, Biharipur, Ankur Vihar, Sharda City, Pavi Pushta (Loni), Mandola NBCC Township, and Bapgat Ke (Mavikala). Baghpat is where the motorway meets the Eastern Peripheral. The Eastern Peripheral connects to the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Everything needed for the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway are complete

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, according to sources. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister, will also accompany him.The PMO will set the date of the inauguration. The motorway will be inaugurated before the Delhi Assembly elections.

Dheeraj Singh, NHAI Project Director, told reporters that “two sections of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway are prepared for inauguration.” The inauguration is scheduled for the latter week of December or the first week of January, before the declaration of the Delhi Assembly elections. The expressway’s inspections are now complete. “No flaw has been discovered anywhere.”
