Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series release date may be sooner than predicted. According to a leaked promotional poll, the South Korean electronics giant may reveal its new flagship lineup as early as January 5, 2025. This would be a break from Samsung’s regular launch timetable, which sets the event in late January or February.
The leaked survey, found by XDA user IMEI Pham, offers a 10% discount on the 2025 Galaxy S series to users who complete the poll by January 5th. This discount, together with the survey’s timing, points to a 5 January announcement for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
This would be an earlier introduction than the Galaxy S24 series, which was unveiled on January 17th at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, CA. Pre-orders for the phones were available the same day, with in-store sales beginning on January 31. The Galaxy S23 series debuted on February 1, 2023, and was released on February 17.
