Uttarakhand : CM Pushkar Singh Dhami stated on Today that the Uttarakhand government will provide a 50 percent concession on energy bills for consumers who use up to 100 units per month.
In the upper Himalayan regions, the limit will be raised to 200.
Dhami stated that the Uttarakhand administration is committed to giving economic security to the weakest segments of society.
In discussing the recently established anti-riot law, Dhami emphasised the significance of sustaining state calm.

He stated, “The anti-riot law was passed during the Assembly’s last session. The Governor has granted his permission, and once the anti-riot law is in effect, anyone rioting within the state who damages government or private property will be held accountable for every penny.” He continued, “Our state is really tranquil. There is no place for rioting, arson, or vandalism herein.
Regarding the current notification of appointment delivery program, Dhami expressed his commitment to filling governmental openings. “It was our resolution from the first day that we will fill all government-related vacant positions, and in the last three years, more than 17 thousand appointment have been made,” according to him.
“Anyone recruitment examinations are being conducted transparently and accurately, without cheating and this commitment of ours will keep going in generations to come as well” , according to the executive.

Dhami stated on Friday that 1,094 engineers would receive employment letters, confirming their continued service in their posts. He continued: “Certainly, the shortage of engineers will also be achieved, and the advancement of the state will also move forwards at a fast pace.

Rahul Gandhi : The Karnataka BJP registered a case against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday at Bengaluru’s High Ground Police Station for making ‘abhorrent’ comments about the Sikh community during the leader’s current trip to the United States.
The state party unit also demanded a report into the Congress leader’s “divisive and provocative remarks targeting SCs, STs, and OBCs.”
Amit Malviya, chief of the BJP’s IT cell, acknowledged the complaint and criticised Gandhi for ‘vilifying’ the Sikh community and making the ‘we will eliminate reservation’ remark.

“In Karnataka, a FIR has been registered regarding Rahul Gandhi for his atrocious words vilifying the Sikh community, as well as his ‘we will eradicate reservation’ speech. “The SC, ST, OBC, and Sikh communities are outraged by the Leader of the Opposition’s divisive remarks,” Malviya wrote in an X post.
He went on to say that as long as the BJP is in power, the Congress leader’s wicked scheme to eliminate reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs will never be realised.
A similar case was filed at Varanasi’s Sigra Police Station regarding the Congress politician for allegedly ‘hurting’ Sikh feelings during his recent US tour.
Gandhi attempted to discuss the religious freedom of minorities in India during an event in Herndon, Virginia on September 9, sparking significant reaction from the Sikh community and BJP leaders.
According to the Congress lawmaker, the debate in India is around the right of Sikhs to wear turbans.whether a Sikh can wear a kara or go to the gurdwara. That is the crux of the conflict, and it is for all religions, not just Sikhs,” he remarked.
In response to his remark, the BJP stated that any Sikh is permitted to display a dastar (turban), kara (steel bracelet), and carry a kirpan .
